Chithi

Chithi is a desktop email, calendar, and contacts client built with Tauri 2 (Rust backend) and Vue 3 (TypeScript frontend). It speaks the open protocols you already use — IMAP, SMTP, JMAP, CalDAV, CardDAV — and integrates with Gmail, Microsoft 365, Nextcloud Talk, Matrix / Element Call, Zoom, and La Suite Visio for accounts that have them.

Pre-1.0 software

Chithi is under active development. Packaging recipes exist for several platforms, but the repository does not currently publish installers through an automated release workflow. Check installation and platform status before relying on Chithi for important accounts.
